Overview
Open Water Swimming (OWS) is one of the fastest-growing aquatic disciplines under World Aquatics, with increasing participation and recognition worldwide. As the sport continues to expand across Malaysia and the region, Malaysia Aquatics is proud to host an Introduction to Open Water Swimming dialogue session, aimed at fostering understanding, knowledge sharing, and development for coaches, swimmers, and stakeholders alike.
This session will provide insight into the structure, governance, and competitive pathways of Open Water Swimming, while exploring Malaysia’s plans for growth and education in this discipline.
